Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator and Press Brake Set up persons to join our team. As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal sheets and plates according to specifications. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Duties:

- Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal sheets and plates

- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders to determine specifications

- Select appropriate tooling and dies for each job

- Position workpieces against stops or guides on machine bed or on die

- Align workpieces to ensure accurate bending angles and dimensions

- Adjust machine settings such as speed, stroke length, and back gauge position

- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality production

- Inspect completed parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers

- Make adjustments as needed to maintain product quality

- Perform routine maintenance on machines as required

Experience:

- Previous experience operating press brake machines in a manufacturing or fabrication environment

- Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)

- Knowledge of laser cutting, plasma cutting, stamping press, lathe, and crane operations is a plus

- Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings

- Proficient in using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers

- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in measurements
